About product

First to Fight C4P 1:72

A plastic kit of the Polish C4P artillery tractor in 1:72 scale from the Polish manufacturer First to Fight. The model captures the half-track vehicle intended for towing heavy guns. Kits from this range tend to be designed as easy to assemble and suit less experienced modelers too.

The real subject

The C4P was a Polish heavy artillery half-track tractor of the 1930s, used by the Polish army to move guns and ammunition trailers. It saw action in the defensive fighting of 1939. The combination of a wheeled front end and a tracked running gear gave it good cross-country ability while towing heavy loads.

Building and painting tips

Pay attention to the running gear and the assembly of the tracks. An airbrush suits the single-color and camouflage schemes of interwar and wartime Polish vehicles alike; bring the whole together with shading, washes and fine dust and mud effects. The wooden and canvas elements of the vehicle can be set apart by texture and shade.

Who the model is for

  • Those interested in Polish vehicles of the 1939 period
  • Collectors of military vehicles in 1:72 scale
  • Less experienced modelers, thanks to the simpler build

The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
