Print Scale Kawasaki Ki-61 Hien (C) 1:72 is a set of waterslide decals that carries the mottled camouflage onto a model of the aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
Waterslide decals in 1:72 scale from the Ukrainian manufacturer Print Scale. It is not a kit; it is a separate sheet of decals that carries the complex mottled camouflage pattern onto a finished model of the Japanese Kawasaki Ki-61 Hien fighter. The camouflage is printed directly as a decal, so there is no need to spray the complicated artwork with an airbrush. Version C offers a different camouflage solution from the other sheets of this series.
The Kawasaki Ki-61 Hien, called Tony by the Allies, was a single-seat Japanese fighter of the Second World War. It differed from most Japanese machines through its liquid-cooled V engine derived from a German design and through its slender, aerodynamic fuselage.
The sheet is cut up into the individual pieces, a decal is dipped in lukewarm water for a few seconds and once it releases it is slid onto the surface of the model. The position is adjusted, the excess water is pressed out, and a decal softening solution helps it settle into the engraved detail. A smooth gloss base is ideal, and once dry the surface is coated with a matte or satin varnish.
These are separate waterslide decals. The model and the paints are not included in the package.
