A sheet of pre-cut masks for the F-16C fighter in the BDU Green Splinter Aggressor rendition makes it possible to spray the green broken coloring onto a 1:72 airframe.
Responsibility details are not available.
A small airframe and a complex geometry of fields are a combination that practically rules out painting by hand. The pre-cut masks from DN Models hold the proportions of the pattern even where the individual wedges are barely a few millimeters wide. The result then looks like a scaled-down version of the real machine rather than an approximate hint.
The green broken variant was introduced by American training squadrons as a counterweight to the earlier blue and black coats. It refers to the coloring of the new generation of Russian heavy fighters and serves to let crews in training see the opponent in the form they would meet in reality. The subject of the artwork was one particular aircraft operating from a Nordic base.
In a small scale the thinning decides. Release the paint very thin and apply it repeatedly until the area covers. Press the pointed ends of the parts down with the tip of a toothpick, because it is precisely there that running under occurs most often. Take the mask off at once, as soon as the paint hardens to the touch, not after several days.
In the package there is masking material only, not a model or paints.
