An injection-molded plastic kit of the Canon de 155 C mle 1918 heavy howitzer of 155 mm caliber in 1:72 scale from ACE. The package holds plastic sprues, decals and assembly instructions; this variant is fitted with wheels of the wooden type. The model is intended to be glued and painted.
The Canon de 155 C mle 1918 was a heavy howitzer of 155 mm caliber based on the French Schneider design. It was also built under license in the United States with some changes, among them a straight shield and different wheels. The howitzer served with a number of armies from the end of the First World War and was a capable weapon of artillery support.
Use liquid cement on the plastic and cut the thin parts of the mount off carefully. Finish and paint the mount and the shield before the final assembly. We recommend a primer, a matte finish with an airbrush and weathering with a wash and pigments on the lower areas and the wheels.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
