A set of accessory parts for building a Chinook model in 1:72 scale, in the extended form according to the name. The accessories are used where the kit only hints at a shape. The model thereby gains detail that would otherwise have to be made laboriously from plastic section and wire.
The CH-47 Chinook is a heavy transport helicopter with a pair of main rotors placed one behind the other. The layout with two rotors turning in opposite directions does without an anti-torque rotor on the tail and allows cargo to be loaded along the whole length of the fuselage. At the back there is a folding ramp, through which loading and dropping off are done. The machine has served since the 1960s to this day and has gone through a series of upgrades.
The exact contents can be found in the list the manufacturer encloses with the set. The parts are of a different material from the kit, so they are joined to the build only after cleaning up and dry-fitting.
Cut the excess material off a little way from the part and sand the rest back with fine abrasive paper, so that you do not shorten the shape itself. Dry-fit the parts and widen the plastic seat as needed. Apply a coat of primer before painting, because on a smooth surface the paint rubs off easily otherwise.
The package holds accessory parts. The kit, paints and glue are not included, unless stated otherwise.
