A set of painting masks from Peewit in 1:72 for the Curtiss Kittyhawk Mk.IA fighter will give sharp cockpit frames and clean glazing.
Responsibility details are not available.
Self-adhesive die-cut masks in 1:72 scale from Peewit, cut exactly for the frames of the canopy of a Curtiss Kittyhawk Mk.IA model. It is not a kit but an accessory that speeds up and sharpens the painting of the clear parts.
Kittyhawk Mk.IA was the British and Allied designation of the Curtiss P-40 fighter with an Allison V12 engine. The aircraft served during the Second World War on many fronts, in North Africa among others, where it earned a reputation as a tough machine suited to ground attack.
Lift the individual masks off the sheet, seat them exactly on the glass and press the edges down. Spray the interior shade first, then the exterior color. Work in thin coats with an airbrush, so that the edge of the frame stays sharp. Take the mask off soon after the paint has dried.
This is an accessory set of masks, not a model of an aircraft. The kit, the paints and the clear coat are not included in the package.
