A decal sheet in 1:72 scale for a model of the British de Havilland DH.82A Tiger Moth trainer biplane. Classic decals that are soaked in water.
Responsibility details are not available.
The de Havilland DH.82A Tiger Moth is a British trainer biplane on which whole year-groups of pilots learned to fly both before and during the Second World War. The open seats in tandem, the braced wings and the fixed undercarriage make it a model on which the color scheme is visible from every side, and that is precisely why it pays to choose its decals with care.
A sheet of decals for 1:72 scale for this type of aircraft. How many machines and which schemes the sheet covers is given in the instructions supplied by the manufacturer, which also show the placement of the individual decals on the model.
Clear-coat the area under the decal with gloss varnish; on a matte surface air will stay under the decal and white blotches will appear. Cut the decal out close to the edge of the print, dip it in lukewarm water for a few seconds and let it rest until it starts to shift on the backing. Then slide it onto the model, press the remaining water out with a soft cloth and help it settle with a softener. On a biplane, lay the decals on before you rig the bracing wires, as you will no longer reach the wing between them.
The kit of the aircraft, paints, varnishes and softener are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
