This is an Eduard upgrade set from the Brassin line, not an aircraft kit. It combines a colored resin instrument panel with pre-printed instruments and glass reflections, steel (photo-etched) seat belts and supplementary small parts for the night fighter Mosquito in 1:72 scale. The set serves to lift cockpit realism markedly without having to paint the instrument panel by hand.
The de Havilland Mosquito NF Mk.II was the night fighter version of the famous British wooden twin-engine aircraft of the Second World War. It carried radar and heavy cannon and machine gun armament in the nose and was deployed to defend against night raids. It stood out for its excellent flying qualities and for the versatility of the whole Mosquito family.
First wash the mold release residue off the resin parts with lukewarm water and a mild detergent. Cut them from the casting blocks and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The colored panel is fitted as it is, with any fine tuning done in a satin varnish. The masks enclosed make clean painting of the glazing easier. Protect your airways when sanding resin.
This is an accessory set, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
