A set of waterslide decals in 1:72 scale from Xtradecal. It offers markings for the single-seat Vampire in the colors of overseas air arms. The decals are in accurate register and will complete unit as well as national markings.
The de Havilland Vampire was one of the first jet fighters, with a typical twin-boom tail, and it was deployed in the fighter as well as the fighter-bomber role. Besides the Royal Air Force, a whole range of overseas users operated it in large numbers, marking the machines with their own national insignia and striking finishes.
Work over a smooth gloss varnish. Cut the marking out, dip it in lukewarm water for a few seconds and slide it onto the surface of the model. For perfect settling into the detail, use softening and setting solution and finally go over everything with a protective varnish in the degree of gloss you want.
This is a stand-alone set of decals. The model, the paints and the varnish are not included in the package.
