1:72 Decal Su-17/22 M3/M4 (7x camo)

Decals Su-17/22 M3/M4 1:72 (7 camouflage schemes), HAD models

A sheet of waterslide decals in 1:72 scale for the fighter-bombers Sukhoi Su-17 and the export Su-22 in the M3 and M4 versions. According to the name the set offers seven color and camouflage schemes, so several different machines can be built from one box. It is not a kit but an accessory for marking a finished model.

The real subject

The Su-17 and its export variant the Su-22 are Soviet single-engine attack and strike aircraft with a variable-geometry wing. They served in a number of air forces and carried varied tactical camouflage schemes.

Use

• Apply the decals onto a smooth gloss coat, so that the area around the marking does not go dull.
• Dip the cut-out marking briefly in lukewarm water and slide it onto the model.
• Adjust the position, blot the water away and help it settle with a decal softener.
• Once it is dry, go over it with a clear varnish.

Who it is for

Suited to builders of Cold War and export jet aircraft in 1:72 scale who will appreciate the choice between several camouflage schemes.

The accessory does not hold the model itself. The paints, the varnish and the glue are not included in the package.
