De Havilland propeller with a jig for the Defiant Mk.I 1:72 (Quickboost) is a resin aircraft accessory in 1:72 scale from Quickboost. It is not an airplane model but a detail part. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
Responsibility details are not available.
An exactly cast resin three-blade de Havilland propeller for the British Boulton Paul Defiant Mk.I turret fighter in 1:72 scale, together with an assembly jig for setting the blade angle correctly. It is an aftermarket detail part that will replace the simplified plastic propeller from the base kit, not an airplane model.
The Boulton Paul Defiant was a British two-seat fighter of the Second World War with its armament in a rotating dorsal turret, powered by the Rolls-Royce Merlin V12 engine. The engine turned a three-blade variable-pitch propeller. The accurate shape of the blades and their correct setting strongly affect the overall impression a model makes.
Resin parts call for more careful work than plastic: first wash them to remove mold release residue, separate them carefully from the casting block (the gate) and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Protect your airways while sanding and cutting small parts. Apply a primer before painting. Use the jig supplied to get all the blades to the same angle; try seating the propeller hub in the aircraft dry before gluing it in.
The part is supplied as a resin accessory, unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
