The model offers a well-worked engine and cab interior, clear parts, a photo-etched fret and a dump body that can be built in the raised as well as the lowered position. The package holds plastic parts, decals and assembly instructions.
The Diamond T 972 was an American heavy truck with all-wheel drive, used during the Second World War in the dump truck version. It served engineer and construction units to carry gravel, earth and building material while building roads, airfields and fortifications. Its sturdy chassis handled heavy terrain and demanding service in the rear and closer to the front alike.
Paint the engine and the cab interior and bring them out before you close the bodywork. Glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue and the glazing only at the end. An airbrush suits the American olive; the body and the chassis deserve a deposit of mud, dust and rust with washes and pigments.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
