A set of precisely cut self-adhesive masks made from kabuki tape for plastic models of the light carrier-based attack aircraft Douglas A-4 Skyhawk in the A-4B, A-4C, A-4E and A-4F versions in 1:72 scale. The EXPERT version is the most complete variant: besides masks for the external glazing it also contains masks for the inside of the canopy, masks for other clear parts, for the wheels and details for the camouflage. It is not a kit but an aid to spraying the canopy frames and other areas cleanly.
The A-4 Skyhawk was a compact single-engined carrier-based attack aircraft of the US Navy and Marine Corps with a long service career. The versions covered here take in the early and mid-to-late variants with their characteristic canopy shape.
Degrease the glazing, transfer the masks with tweezers and press them down along the frames. Apply the interior color first and then the airframe color. Remove the masks while the finish is still flexible. Wheels with separate hubs can easily be split into tire and rim.
This is a mask set, not a model. The paints, the glue and the kit are not included in the package.
