The injection-molded plastic kit Heller 1:72 E-2C Hawkeye — the American carrier-based early warning aircraft with a rotating dish radome.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the American carrier-based early warning aircraft Grumman E-2C Hawkeye in 1:72 scale from Heller. The unmistakable feature of the machine is the large dish radome (rotodome) above the fuselage. In the box you will find plastic sprues, clear parts for the cockpit glazing and decals.
The E-2C Hawkeye is a twin-engine turboprop aircraft that flies from the decks of American aircraft carriers. It serves as an airborne command and surveillance station: its rotating radome carries a powerful radar that tracks the air and surface situation at long range and directs the deployment of other aircraft. The Hawkeye is the key eye of a whole carrier group and serves in many navies.
Finish and paint the cockpit before you close up the fuselage. Mask the extensive cockpit glazing. Fit the dish radome so that it seats freely and level. Take care over the correct seating of the large propellers and of the landing gear. Spray the large areas with an airbrush and apply gloss varnish under the decals.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
