The sheet of wet decals from the French maker Syhart Decal reproduces the anniversary scheme of the Australian Boeing EA-18G Growler electronic warfare aircraft (serial A46-306). The machine was painted in 2017 to celebrate 100 years of No. 6 Squadron of the Royal Australian Air Force. The package contains a decal sheet and color instructions. It is an accessory to a kit, not a model aircraft.
The EA-18G Growler is the two-seat version of the F/A-18F Super Hornet aircraft specialized in electronic warfare and the suppression of enemy air defenses. The Australian No. 6 Squadron came about as early as the First World War and in 2017 it became an electronic warfare unit with Growlers. For its centenary one of the machines received striking commemorative markings on the vertical tail surfaces and the fuselage.
Apply the small decals in 1:72 in smaller groups onto a smooth gloss varnish, with a softener for settling onto curved surfaces and into engraved lines. Fix the finished markings with a transparent varnish according to the sheen wanted.
This is a decal set, not a kit. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
