This is a resin detail accessory from Aires, not an airplane model. The set replaces the cockpit from a plastic kit with a faithfully cast interior of the EA-6B Prowler in the ICAP-2 fit in its late form. It contains finely shaped instrument panels, side consoles, seats and a floor with rich relief, which once painted will markedly raise the fidelity of the view into the cockpit.
The EA-6B Prowler was a carrier-based electronic warfare aircraft derived from the A-6 Intruder. The ICAP-2 standard brought an upgrade of the jamming and reconnaissance systems; the late version corresponds to the later batches and to modifications of the equipment. The crew consisted of several members operating the electronics.
Separate the parts from the casting blocks, wash them to remove the mold release agent and bond them with super glue. Airbrush painting is advisable for the instrument panels, with the detail of the instruments brought out with a brush and the whole interior unified with a fine wash.
The set is a detail accessory, not a complete model. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
