1:72 F-100C Super Sabre canopy mask protects the clear parts while the frames are painted. The cut matches the Hasegawa kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set deals with the canopy frames and the windscreen of the Super Sabre fighter-bomber. Because masks for several different molds of the same aircraft exist, it is good to know that this one is cut for the Hasegawa kit in 1:72 scale.
The North American F-100 was the first production machine of the US Air Force to exceed the speed of sound in level flight, not merely in a dive. The version with the letter C brought a wing with internal tanks and a fixed probe for refueling in flight, by which the range moved into an entirely different category. The machine had a reputation as a demanding aircraft that does not forgive mistakes on the approach to landing, but at the same time it earned respect among the crews for its toughness and load capacity. With the units of the Air National Guard it stayed in the inventory long after it left the line formations.
The metal surface around the cockpit calls for a smooth base, so polish the areas before spraying. Lay the interior shade on before the top finish and take the masks off at a sharp angle so that the edge of the paint does not tear. Finish the seat and the instrument panel before you close the cockpit.
The contents of the package are masks for painting; the plastic parts are supplied by the maker of the model.
