An accessory set for models of the F-100 Super Sabre in the C, D and F versions in 1:72 scale. The kind of parts is stated by the manufacturer in the instructions.
Responsibility details are not available.
The North American F-100 Super Sabre was the first American fighter able to exceed the speed of sound in level flight. You can recognize it by its swept wing, the oval intake in the nose and the low-set cockpit. The C version served as a fighter-bomber, the D was the most numerous production version and the F is the two-seat version with two seats in tandem. The aircraft flew with the US Air Force and with other users and in modeling they belong among the rewarding Cold War subjects.
The set is listed for 1:72 scale and for three Super Sabre versions at once, that is, C, D and F. The extent of the set, the number of parts and their placement on the model are given in the manufacturer's instructions enclosed with the set. Before you fit the set, try the parts dry and compare them with the corresponding spot on the kit.
Cut away the excess material with a sharp blade a little away from the part and carefully sand the rest down so you do not shorten the shape itself. Match the choice of glue to the material of the parts, as cement for polystyrene holds only on the plastic of the kit. Before painting, wash the parts in lukewarm water with a drop of detergent, let them dry and apply a primer. The exact fitting procedure is given in the manufacturer's instructions.
This is an accessory for building a model. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
