A resin detail accessory from Quickboost, made by Aires, in 1:72 scale. It is not an aircraft model but a set of small air scoops that you add to the fuselage of the F-105 Thunderchief version. The fine castings refine the detail of the cooling and venting on the surface.
The Republic F-105 Thunderchief was an American single-engine supersonic fighter-bomber, used above all in the 1960s. It was powered by a capable jet engine and on the fuselage it had a series of small air scoops for cooling and venting the systems.
Wash the parts to remove mold release residue, separate the casting blocks carefully and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Sand with respiratory protection. Seat the small scoops in the right places on the fuselage according to the plan.
The accessory is supplied as resin parts. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
