A resin detail part, not an airplane kit. This finely cast resin set replaces the ejection seats of the American two-seat McDonnell Douglas F-15E Strike Eagle strike aircraft in 1:72 scale, complete with rendered safety belts. The Strike Eagle is the two-seat multirole version of the heavy F-15 fighter, intended for precision strikes on ground targets. The part is intended for more experienced modelers who work with resin.
In a two-seat cockpit the seats are one of the most conspicuous details. The resin castings offer a faithful shape of the shells and finely cast strap loops, which are hard to achieve with plastic parts from the box. Once painted and discreetly weathered, the tandem cockpit gains depth and looks realistic. Even through the glazing of the canopy the seats are partly visible, so care for this detail always pays off.
