1:72 F-15J Eagle MSIP: an Eduard masking set for a model of the Japanese updated Eagle fighter in 1:72 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
This masking set from Eduard carries, as the brand is used to doing, only the designation of the aircraft; its place among masks for 1:72 scale tells you that it is an aid to painting, not the photo-etched set the manufacturer offers separately under an identical name. With the masks you will manage to spray the frames of the Eagle's massive canopy in one go and without any nerves, as by hand it is one of the most tedious passages of the build.
The F-15J is the version of the Eagle fighter built under license by the Japanese company Mitsubishi for the Japan Air Self-Defense Force. The MSIP designation belongs to machines taken into the multi-stage improvement program, which brought them more capable avionics, new display systems and domestic guided missiles step by step. The updated Eagles form the backbone of Japanese air defense and regularly scramble to identify foreign aircraft over the Sea of Japan.
Store the masks flat and stick them onto a polished, dry surface. Settle each shape lightly first, line it up with the frame and only then press it down over its whole area. Paint in thin cross layers; after the last coat let the paint only go tacky and peel the masks off carefully.
