Replacement exhaust nozzles in the open position for a model of the F-16 aircraft with the General Electric F110 engine, 1:72 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set replaces the engine exhaust nozzle on a model of the F-16 aircraft in 1:72 scale. The nozzle is captured in the open position, that is, with the movable petals spread apart. It is a place that plastic kits in a small scale struggle to come near: the petals should be thin, regularly arranged and with a view deep inside, which an injected part of split construction manages only with difficulty.
F-16 aircraft fly with engines from two different suppliers, and the end of the nozzle differs between them in shape and in the arrangement of the petals. This set is prepared for the form with the General Electric F110 engine. Check against photographs of the particular machine which aircraft you are building your model after; swapping the nozzles is one of the mistakes a knowing viewer spots at first glance.
Cut the surplus material off with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the remainder, taking care not to reach the thin wall of the petals. Try the part dry in the opening at the tail of the fuselage and widen the opening carefully as needed. The material is not polystyrene, so reach for super glue and wash and degrease the surfaces beforehand. Paint the inside of the nozzle before you seat it; once it is in, a brush will no longer reach.
The aircraft kit, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
