This set is a resin accessory in 1:72 scale, not a stand-alone aircraft model. It replaces the exhaust nozzle of a plastic F-16A/B Fighting Falcon kit with a faithful resin casting with fine detail of both the outer plates and the inner wall of the nozzle. The set is intended for experienced modelers who want to take the nozzle beyond the level of the molding from the box.
The General Dynamics F-16 Fighting Falcon is an American single-engine fourth-generation multirole fighter, famous for its agility and widespread in many countries of the world. The A version is single-seat and the B version a two-seat combat trainer; both are early standards of this successful type.
This is a resin casting for the advanced. First wash the parts to remove mold release residue, cut off the casting blocks carefully and clean up the cut surfaces, always with respiratory protection. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate); try the surfaces dry before fixing them. Try the fit dry and fine-tune the transition to the plastic with filler and sanding.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted, as a resin set. The aircraft kit, glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package.
