This is a resin detail accessory from the Brassin range, not an aircraft model. The set contains accurately cast landing gear wheels for models of the F-35A Lightning II fighter in 1:72 scale. It replaces the plastic parts from the kit with a more faithful version with a fine tire tread and hub detail.
The Lockheed Martin F-35A Lightning II is a modern single-seat fifth generation multirole fighter with features that reduce its radar signature. The A version is the land-based variant with conventional takeoff and landing, operated by a number of allied air forces.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and dry-fit them. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Paint the tires matte dark gray and the hubs a light color; given the tiny dimensions in 1:72, work with a fine brush or a mask.
