A resin set of rear-view mirrors for the F-4 Phantom II in 1:72 scale — a fine detailing accessory for the cockpit, not a standalone aircraft model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A small but effective resin set of rear-view mirrors for the F-4 Phantom II fighter in 1:72 scale. It is not an aircraft model but a detailing accessory that replaces the coarse plastic parts, or the entirely missing ones, from an ordinary kit. Finely cast mirrors on the canopy frame noticeably raise the realism of a finished model, especially with an open cockpit. It is made as part of the Quickboost range by the Czech studio Aires.
The McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II is a two-seat supersonic fighter and strike aircraft, one of the most widespread Western combat machines of the Cold War. It served with the US Navy, the US Air Force and the US Marine Corps and with a number of allied countries. Rear-view mirrors on the canopy frame were part of the usual fit, which the crew used for a view aft.
First wash the mold release agent residue off the parts, then separate them carefully from the casting block with a sharp knife or a file. They are glued with cyanoacrylate; protect your airways when sanding resin and work with extraction. We recommend spraying a base color first and finishing the frames with a brush.
The set does not contain the aircraft model itself; it serves as an accessory for the matching kit. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
