A plastic kit of the F-4 Phantom II multirole aircraft in 1:72 scale from Italeri. The box makes it possible to build the F-4E version, or the German F-4F, according to the enclosed decal sheet. The model is made up of injection-molded plastic parts and is meant to be glued together and painted.
The McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II is a two-seat twin-engined supersonic fighter-bomber, one of the most widespread combat aircraft of the Cold War. The F-4E version brought an internal cannon and modernized avionics, while the F-4F was a lightened variant for the Luftwaffe.
Glue the parts with thin cement for plastic and sand the mating surfaces. It pays to pick out the cockpit and the underwing stores; for desert and European camouflage schemes alike an airbrush and a subsequent shading of the panel lines suit the model.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
