A resin detail set from Aires in 1:72 scale intended to raise the fidelity of the cockpit of the American F-4G Phantom II. This is not a model of the aircraft but an aftermarket accessory that replaces the plastic cockpit of a suitable kit with finely cast resin parts.
The F-4G Phantom II is a two-seat version of the well-known Phantom II, adapted for the suppression of enemy air defenses. It differed from the ordinary fighter versions above all in the fit of the rear station, and that carries over into the cockpit as well.
Wash the resin parts free of mold release residue, cut off the casting blocks and clean them up with respiratory protection. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Check the fit against the fuselage before seating. The interior comes into its own once it is painted, the instruments are picked out and a fine wash is laid in.
This is a resin accessory. The kit itself, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
