Responsibility details are not available.
This set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard contains precisely pre-cut self-adhesive masks made of fine Japanese kabuki tape for a model of the Brewster F2A Buffalo fighter in 1:72 scale. It is not a kit and it is not a finished model, but an accessory that makes masking easier and more accurate when spraying paint.
The masks are applied to the canopy frames and to the wheel rims, so that after spraying the glass stays clear and the tires stay free of paint. Kabuki tape adapts well to curved shapes, holds tight and leaves no adhesive when peeled off. The canopy frames therefore come out sharp and straight, with no tape to cut by hand.
The Brewster F2A Buffalo was an American carrier fighter from the early part of the Second World War and one of the first monoplane fighters of the US Navy. It had a stubby fuselage and a radial engine; despite its mixed combat reputation, the Finnish Air Force, for one, used it with great success.
The set contains pre-cut masking parts only. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
