This is not a model but a colored self-adhesive photo-etched set from Eduard's Zoom line. It is prepared for a model of the F6F-5N Hellcat night fighter in 1:72 scale, specifically for the matching model in the Weekend edition. It contains the main parts printed in color for the cockpit area, which are added onto the parts of a plastic kit. The model itself is obtained separately.
The parts are self-adhesive and printed in color in advance, so they do not have to be painted by hand. A set from the Zoom line is a simplified version of a fuller colored set and concentrates on the most visible items of the cockpit, typically the instrument panel and the seat belts. The exact number of parts follows the instructions in the package.
The F6F-5N is the night fighter variant of the American carrier-based Grumman Hellcat fighter from the Second World War period. It differed from the day versions in a radar housed in a pod on the wing, which made it possible to find targets in the dark.
