A resin detail part, not an aircraft kit. The resin exhaust nozzle replaces the plastic part from the base kit of the American F9F-2 Panther carrier jet fighter in 1:72 scale. The casting has a deeper and more faithful cavity in the nozzle, so the gluing and filling of a split plastic tube is gone.
The Grumman F9F Panther was among the first successful carrier jet fighters of the US Navy. The single-seat straight-wing aircraft was powered by a jet engine and the exhaust came out at the rear of the fuselage. The rear exhaust nozzle is a prominent place in the view, where the depth and a clean shape of the cavity are the key to realism, because a viewer naturally looks into it.
