This set is a resin accessory in 1:72 scale, not an airplane model. It holds precisely cast landing gear wheels for the F9F Panther and paint masks that make it easy to separate the tire from the hub cleanly when painting. The resin wheels have a crisper tread and a more faithful shape than ordinary plastic moldings and are intended for more experienced modelers.
The Grumman F9F Panther was one of the first successful American carrier-borne jet fighters, deployed above all in the Korean War.
