It is not a kit but an accessory that lets you show the aircraft with the service compartments for the avionics open and fill their interiors faithfully. The set is meant for fitting into a matching plastic model of the Hornet.
The McDonnell Douglas F/A-18 Hornet is a carrier-based multirole aircraft. Around the fuselage and the nose it has a number of service panels, with electronic equipment behind them. A model with the bays open and the avionics on view looks like a machine under maintenance on a deck or an airfield, which is a popular way of treating a diorama.
Wash the parts to remove the mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and bond them with super glue. Spray the inside of the bays in a base color, add fine color accents on the wiring and bring it up with a wash. Open panels call for reworking the surrounding plastic, so work patiently and measure dry.
This is a resin detail accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
