A decal sheet for the Italian Fiat CR.42 Falco fighter biplane in 1:72 scale. It offers several Regia Aeronautica machines from the fighting over the Mediterranean and North Africa.

The Fiat CR.42 Falco first flew at a time when the world's air forces were already moving to monoplanes with an enclosed cockpit. The Italians nevertheless bet on agility and kept the machine in series production. The Falco then accompanied the war in the Mediterranean from the first fighting over the Alps through the Aegean to the desert airfields in Libya, and it became known for exceptional handling, which was offset by weak armament and the lack of armor.
The printing covers a number of particular machines from various units. Among them are a night fighter version marked with the letters CN, aircraft of independent squadrons from Palermo and Ciampino, and machines fighting over El Adem in the autumn of 1940. Also represented is an aircraft linked with the name of one of the most successful Italian biplane pilots from the fighting over East Africa.
The decals are waterslide, that is the classic kind, transferred from the paper after soaking. The printing is rich and carries both fuselage insignia and numbers and the tactical markings of individual squadrons. The carrier film is thin, so after it is sealed with clear coat it practically disappears.
The surface under the printing is polished to a gloss so that no air gets under the film. After the decal is laid down it is advisable to work with a decal softener, above all on the wing ribs and in the transition to the fuselage, where a biplane has many changes of shape. A matte clear coat follows, which unifies the surface. The set assumes a finished fighter model in the chosen scale.
