About product

Peewit painting mask 1:72: Focke-Wulf Fw-190D

A set of precisely shaped self-adhesive Peewit masks in 1:72 scale for models of the Focke-Wulf Fw-190D fighter. The masks are cut from kabuki paper and follow the frames of the canopy glazing exactly, so they give a sharp and clean spray finish without lengthy cutting of tape.

Use

  • Lift the masks off the backing and stick them to the glazing along the frames.
  • Kabuki paper follows curved surfaces and holds for the whole of the spraying.
  • Once the paint has dried, peel the masks off carefully; the edges stay sharp.
  • It saves time and cuts the risk of paint running over onto the glazing.

Who it is for

  • Modelers of fighters in 1:72 scale who want a clean canopy.
  • Builders who prefer ready-made masks to cutting their own.

A mask is neither a paint nor a kit. Press the edges down well before spraying so that paint does not creep under the mask.
