About product

Peewit landing gear bay plugs 1:72: Focke-Wulf Fw-190D-9

A set of shaped Peewit plugs in 1:72 scale for models of the Focke-Wulf Fw-190D-9 fighter. These are neither decals nor paint but flexible inserts that fill and cover the landing gear bays completely during spraying. Thanks to them no paint and no dust get into the bays and the interior stays clean.

Use

  • Push the plug into the landing gear bay before you spray the fuselage and the wings.
  • The flexible material follows the shape of the bay and seals reliably.
  • Take the plug out after spraying; the bay is left with no overspray.
  • The inserts can be used again and will last for several builds.

Who they are for

  • Modelers who want clean landing gear bays without masking by hand.
  • Builders of fighters in 1:72 scale who care about the detail of the underside.

This is neither a paint nor a kit. Seat the plugs well before spraying so that paint does not creep in around the edges.
