A pre-painted photo-etched Fokker D.XXI instrument panel (Finland, late) in 1:72 scale from Yahu Models. It is not a model but a finished color cockpit accessory.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a pre-painted photo-etched instrument panel set in 1:72 scale from Yahu Models. It is not an aircraft kit but a finished color accessory for a cockpit, which replaces the plastic instrument panel from the box. The panel is built up from several laminated photo-etched layers into three-dimensional relief, and the dial faces are painted at the factory and coated with gloss varnish imitating the glasses of the instruments. The set corresponds to the late Finnish version of the Fokker D.XXI in 1:72 scale.
It replaces a flat plastic instrument panel and gives the cockpit of this Finnish fighter fine, authentic detail without the laborious painting of instruments. The panel is degreased, gently shaped if need be, and glued in with cyanoacrylate.
The Fokker D.XXI was a Dutch single-seat fighter of the 1930s with fixed landing gear. It became best known in Finnish service, where it made its mark in the Winter War and the Continuation War; in winter it flew on skis. The late Finnish version differed in details of its equipment and cockpit.
This is an accessory (a photo-etched instrument panel), not an aircraft model. The base kit and glue are not included in the package.
