The colored photo-etched set Eduard 1:72 Fortress Mk. III front interior for the detailed fitting out of the front part of the fuselage of the four-engine bomber. It is not a model but an accessory for a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard holds colored photo-etched parts for the detailed improvement of the front part of the interior of the Fortress Mk. III bomber in 1:72 scale. It is not a model of an airplane in its own right but an accessory intended for the matching plastic kit. The colored photo-etch brings above all the instrument panel, the side panels and the small equipment of the pilot's compartment with pre-printed lettering.
Fortress Mk. III was the British designation for the Boeing B-17G Flying Fortress in the service of the Royal Air Force. These machines served above all with Coastal Command and with units for radio reconnaissance and jamming (electronic warfare). The base was the classic American heavy bomber with a defensive system of machine gun turrets and four radial engines.
The photo-etched parts are cut from the fret with a sharp knife and glued with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Make the bends in a bending tool or over the edge of a ruler. The colored surfaces are already printed, and we recommend only matting them down gently. The set will speed up and sharpen details that injection-molded plastic cannot capture.
This is a supplementary set, not a model. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
