The SdKfz 250 was a light half-track armored personnel carrier, which with German units filled the role of a signals, reconnaissance and support machine. It was built in two forms of hull: the older version has a superstructure put together from a larger number of folded plates, the newer one moves to a simplified shape with fewer surfaces. On a model it is a fundamental difference, because the two hulls have differently placed edges and differently sized areas for markings.
This set is the first part of the series devoted to the SS Frundsberg division and covers the older as well as the newer hull in four service versions. The designs are printed for 1:72 scale.
These are wet decals. Trim the design off tight to the print, dip it briefly in lukewarm water and let it rest until it begins to slide over the backing paper. Varnish the area to a gloss beforehand, otherwise a white veil will be left around the design. The folded surfaces of the hull will call for a softener and pressure from a soft cloth; the finished model is evened out with a matte varnish.
The sheet will be used by modelers of German hardware who build light half-tracks and want to set the individual service versions apart. The sheet of decals is supplied on its own; the model, the paints and the glue do not belong with it, unless stated otherwise.
