An injection-molded plastic kit of the Renault FT light tank with a rotating turret and a 37 mm cannon in 1:72 scale. The model comes from a series focused on the equipment of 1939 and is designed as a quick build with clear instructions and decals.
The Renault FT was a groundbreaking French light tank of the late First World War. As the first production tank it introduced the layout with a rotating turret, the driver at the front and the engine at the rear, which became the standard for the whole of the twentieth century. FT tanks spread to many armies between the wars and in limited numbers they still saw action at the start of the Second World War. The version with the 37 mm cannon was its gun-armed variant.
Glue the parts with liquid polystyrene cement, separate the small parts with a sharp knife and clean them up with a file. Leave the turret free to rotate for display later. A primer and flat shades suit an interwar camouflage; a broken-up pattern can be done with an airbrush or a brush. A wash in the recesses completes the weathering, and dry mud and dust pigments on the running gear emphasize the scale.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
