This is a specialized photo-etched accessory from the Czech manufacturer Brengun, not a kit. The set holds the antennas of the FuG 202 Lichtenstein airborne radar in 1:72 scale, with which you replace the coarse plastic parts on models of German night fighters of the Second World War.
The FuG 202 Lichtenstein was an early German airborne radar used by night fighters, for example on the Bf 110, Ju 88 or Do 217. The characteristic antler-like antenna arrays on the nose of the aircraft are today an iconic recognition mark of these machines.
Photo-etched antennas have a thickness and a fineness to scale that molded plastic cannot reach. Separate the parts with a sharp knife and glue the small pieces with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The antennas are fragile, so fit them at the end of the build, ideally after painting. The set does not hold mounting posts.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
