This is a detail accessory, not a kit. The set uses 3D printing to reproduce the characteristic antenna arrays of the German FuG 217 Neptun airborne radar, which were fitted to the night fighter versions of the Fw 190 A-6, A-7 and A-8 in the R11 configuration. The fine struts and antenna dipoles are hard to produce by any other technology in this scale.
The FuG 217 Neptun was a German airborne radar used for interception in the dark at the end of the Second World War. Its external antennas projected from the leading edges and the nose of the aircraft and are a striking recognition feature of the night versions.
