This resin detail set brings more accurately cast propellers for a model of the twin-engined Focke-Wulf Fw 189 reconnaissance aircraft. A simple jig (tool) that makes it easier to set the blade angle correctly is included. It is meant as an improvement for Fw 189 models in 1:72 scale and comes as a separate accessory rather than as an aircraft kit.
The Focke-Wulf Fw 189 Uhu was a German twin-engined reconnaissance and observation aircraft of the Second World War with a characteristic glazed nacelle and a twin-boom tail. Precisely cast propeller blades raise the fidelity of the powerplants.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent, cut them off the casting blocks and sand the seating faces with respiratory protection. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The jig supplied helps to keep the blade angle the same on both propellers.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
