Responsibility details are not available.
This pre-cut self-adhesive Eduard masking set in 1:72 scale is intended for a plastic model of the German Focke-Wulf Fw 190A fighter. It is not a kit and it is not a model in its own right, but a set of precisely shaped masks made of thin yellow masking tape (kabuki). The masks will be appreciated by modelers who want sharp paint transitions on the glazing, the wheels and the camouflage areas without lengthy cutting of tape by hand.
The Focke-Wulf Fw 190 is a German single-seat fighter of the Second World War. The A version was powered by a strong radial engine and was among the most feared German fighters of its day. It was known for its good agility, its heavy armament and its tough structure. The cockpit was covered by a smooth sliding canopy with clean framing, whose sharp lines a ready-made set masks precisely.
Degrease the glazing of the sliding canopy and let it dry. Take the masks off the backing and lay them on the individual frames, pressing them into the edges, and fill any small gaps with a strip of tape. Spray the paint with an airbrush in thin coats. The wheel masks separate the tire from the rim. Once the paint is dry, peel the masks off carefully at a sharp angle.
The package contains masks only. The model, paints, glue and decals are not included, unless stated otherwise.
