This set from the resin Brassin range by the Czech manufacturer Eduard contains a complete cockpit for the Fw 190A-8 fighter, cast in high detail and complemented by instrument panel decals and possibly photo-etched parts. It is not an airplane model but a detail accessory that replaces the cockpit from the base kit.
The resin cockpit offers markedly more faithful detail of the tub, the instrument panel, the seat and the side consoles than a plastic kit does. The set is intended for models of the German Fw 190A-8 fighter in 1:72 scale.
First wash the mold release agent off the parts. Cut off the casting blocks with a saw and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Apply a primer filler before painting; settle the instrument decals onto a smooth varnished surface. Check that the fuselage can still be closed once the resin is in place.
This is a detail accessory, not a complete model. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted, without glue or paints.
