Responsibility details are not available.
A set of exactly cast resin pitot tubes (dynamic pressure sensors) for the German Focke-Wulf Fw 190A fighter in 1:72 scale. It is an aftermarket detail part that will replace the coarser plastic tube from the base kit with a thinner and more accurate item. It is not a standalone airplane model but an accessory.
The Focke-Wulf Fw 190A was a German single-seat fighter of the Second World War with a BMW 801 radial engine. The pitot tube, the dynamic pressure sensor for measuring speed, is among the small but conspicuous details on the wing. A thin and straight resin part looks more accurate than an often thicker and easily warped plastic molding.
Resin parts call for more careful work than plastic: first wash them to remove mold release residue, separate them carefully from the casting block (the gate) and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Separate the thin tube very carefully, it is fragile. Protect your airways while sanding. Apply a primer before painting.
The part is supplied as a resin accessory, unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
