A resin detail accessory for models of the German Focke-Wulf Fw 190D fighter in 1:72 scale. It replaces the main landing gear bay with a more faithful casting with the internal structure of ribs, piping and walls that injected plastic in this scale as a rule only suggests.
The Fw 190D, nicknamed Dora, was the high-altitude fighter version of the Fw 190 with a lengthened nose and an inverted V12 engine. With the landing gear down, the space of the wheel bays is one of the clearly visible places.
Wash the part to remove mold release agent residue, cut off the casting block and, if needed, adapt the mating surfaces to the body of the model. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). We recommend painting the inside of the bay and, if you like, bringing it out with a wash before the wing is closed.
This is an accessory, not a kit. Paints, glue and the model are not included in the package.
