The set belongs among the scenic accessories for dioramas and display scenes. It is not a kit of an aircraft or a vehicle — these are stand-alone objects, added to a scene beside a finished model, a building or figures. The name places the set among garden equipment, that is the outdoor setting by a house.
Garden equipment is the key to a civilian scene. In the yard of a country house, behind a house in the suburbs or at a field headquarters it creates the impression of an inhabited place in which a model of a vehicle has turned up only by chance. Such a contrast tends to be stronger in dioramas than another military detail. The accessory is not tied to a particular kit and combines with any model or figure in 1:72 scale.
Cut the sprue gate remnants off and level the faces, degrease the surface before painting and lay down a thin base. Build the wooden parts up with a lighter base, a brown glaze along the grain and a dry brush on the edges. The metal parts will take a darker shade with traces of rust, and painted parts a matte color with fine scuffs. Setting them into the scene helps: add grass, small growth and dust at the foot of the objects, so that the parts do not look as if they were lying on the surface of the base. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) in a small amount and work in a well-ventilated room.
