It is an injection-molded plastic model from the Polish maker Plastyk with a clear part for the canopy and a decal sheet. It is a straightforward kit; the exact contents of the package are given in the instructions.
The Bf 109 G-2 belonged to the early part of the line of so-called Gustavs, the most widespread family of the most successful German fighter of the Second World War. The G version brought a more powerful engine and higher performance; the G-2 was used on a number of fronts. The aircraft stood out for its compact structure and heavy armament.
We recommend thin plastic cement and careful clean-up of the parting lines and any flash. Finish the cockpit before closing the fuselage and mask the glazing. Use a primer and an airbrush; the typical German fighter schemes with mottling on the fuselage come out well over a smooth base.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
