A set of figures of German field medical personnel of the years 1941 to 1943 in 1:72 scale from Zvezda. The package holds four unassembled plastic figures and bases; the parts are designed as snap-fit, so they hold even without glue, though the joints will last better with a drop of cement for plastic. The figures are meant to be painted by you.
Medics and stretcher bearers were an inseparable part of the infantry units of the Wehrmacht on the Eastern and the Western Fronts alike. The set captures the typical poses of treating and carrying the wounded and suits bringing dioramas and field dressing stations to life, as well as rounding out infantry scenes of the period.
Separate the small parts carefully from the sprue and clean up the parting seams. Before painting, degrease the figures and spray them with a base coat of primer for better adhesion. The uniforms and the equipment come into their own once a darker wash has gone into the folds and the edges have been brought out with a dry brush.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
