1:72 German Reconnaissance team

German reconnaissance team 1939-1942 (1:72, Zvezda)

A set of plastic figures in 1:72 scale from Zvezda in the Art of Tactic range. It represents a German reconnaissance team from the start of the Second World War. The box contains 4 figures, among them prone observers and a two-man radio crew, and a base with a flag. The parts join by tabs (snap-fit).

The real subject

Reconnaissance teams were small groups of trained soldiers who gathered information about the deployment and movement of the enemy, directed artillery fire and passed reports by radio. It was precisely the pairing of an observer with a radio operator that made it possible to react quickly to developments on the battlefield.

Building and painting tips

Separate the parts from the sprue and secure the tabs with a drop of glue if you wish. We recommend a primer base and a base coat in field gray. Bring the radio set and the gear to life with drybrushing, and a thin wash will emphasize the folds of the uniforms.

Who the set is for

• For players of the Art of Tactic turn-based game and other 1:72 systems.
• For builders of dioramas with reconnaissance and signals scenes.
• For collectors of German specialist teams.
• For modelers looking for figures in unconventional poses.

The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
